Corey in India and Nepal
This was definitely one of the most culturally rich adventures for me. The sights, sounds and smells are only something you can truly experience being there - a few photos cannot capture India. It's people give new meaning to perseverance, courage and ingenuity. Some say India stands for "I'll Never Do It Again," however many are drawn back because it's probably the best show on earth!
Highlights for me were:
- Experiencing a very spiritual culture
- Elephant ride at Amber Fort
- The astonishing Taj Mahal!
- Boat ride on the sacred Ganges River
- Spice bazaars swarming with people, food and holy cows
- Mount Everest and the snow capped Himalayan Mountains in Nepal
Indus Travel provided us with a wonderful journey, knowledgeable guides and most important highly trained drivers. The 4-5 star hotels were all fantastic from Delhi to Kathmandu.
